Landscape

The Landscape committee is a standing committee responsible for the overseeing of Resort landscape issues. The committee works in cooperation with the Manager is responsible to the Board.

This committee coordinates the ordering and planting of the annual flowers each year, so anyone interested in gardening would be able to do that here at Golden Vista. After the flowers are planted the beds are taken over by volunteers who take care of that bed for that year. The committee oversees this and sees that each “gardener” has what he needs to take care of that bed.

The committee prepares a budget when required and submits to the manager and board for approval. Also submit projected plans for any proposed landscape improvements needed in the park. They develop a long-range plan for landscape activities within the Resort, then see that it is done when the time comes. The goal of this committee is to see that this Resort is kept in beautiful shape, and that anyone seeing it would be happy to live here.
