The Sew a Smile is one of the most rewarding accomplishments that the Golden Vista sewing room members participate in. For the past five years all the quilts we make are given to AZ BLANKETS 4 Kids. They give them to needy and abused children.  Sew a Smile has been very productive this season.  We had a total of 41 workers and made 156 Quilts,64 preemies and 30 pair of booties for preemies.  Our Sew a Smile dates were, Nov. 21-22 2009,Jan. 15-16 2010 and March 19-20 -2010.Some of the sewing room members sewed when ever they had some spare time ,so all the quilts were not made in the six days we had Sew a Smile.  All the quilts and preemies go to AZ BLANKETS 4 KIDS
